In a bid to improve visibility of dstricts and interaction with stakeholders, NITA-Uganda has organised a 3 day training workshop for Communication Officers in website content management.

The training is taking place at the Information Access Centre in Kampala. NITA, has been developing websites for all districts and is giving skills to the communication Officers whose role is to manage the websites .

They are expected to update the sites on regular basis. Andrew Ojok, a Senior Technologist at NITA says that a number of district websites had been carrying obslete information.
